Moscow, Russia — 27 June 2019.Tinkoff’s premium card programme has topped the Digital Premium Banking category of Frank RG’s Premium Banking Russia 2019 rating, while also coming in third in the overall premium banking ranking.Conducted annually, Premium Banking in Russia 2019 is the fifth study by the research company. This year, it looked at 13 premium banking programmes in the Russian financial market, interviewing heads of banks’ premium service departments and surveying over 4,000 customers. Premium banking packages were rated in eight categories: services, reliability, deposit and account terms, debit and credit cards, investment offering, non-banking perks, etc.According to Frank RG, premium customers’ capital held by Russian banks totals RUB 5.2 tn. The research also points to a 16% expansion of the premium customer base over the year to 2.7 million, driven by both existing programmes and the launch of new ones in two banks, including Tinkoff.«We are grateful to our colleagues and customers for rating Tinkoff so highly.
