T‑Bank is a participant in the Central Bank of Russia’s pilot program for partner‑based (Islamic) financing. In May 2024, T‑Bank announced the launch of the country’s first federal‑level Islamic banking initiative. Now, banking products developed fully in line with Islamic ethics and Sharia principles are available not only in select regions taking part in the pilot, but to Muslims across most of Russia.

Both cards are designed for purchases in regular stores and online, allowing you to store and transfer money, make payments within the app, and use services in the “City” section.

The key difference is that the Islamic debit card complies with Islamic principles. It does not offer interest‑bearing accounts (riba), and transactions in haram areas are not allowed. Your funds will be kept separate from other bank clients’ assets. When ordering the card, you can choose whether to earn cashback or not.

The Islamic card has restrictions on purchases in the following areas:

• Wholesale alcohol suppliers
• Bars, cocktail bars, nightclubs, discos, and taverns
• Stores selling alcohol for takeaway
• Pawnshops
• Direct marketing, including insurance services
• Tobacco stores
• Insurance companies and premiums
• Gambling
• Lottery tickets

A valid passport and a document confirming your stay in Russia. This could be a migration card, work permit, residence permit, or visa, depending on your citizenship.

The bank credits cashback in rubles once a month:

• Up to 15% on purchases in four categories of your choice, with the most common being 5%. One category will always offer 1% cashback on any purchase from ₽100. The other categories with increased cashback up to 15% change every month, covering everything from fast food and restaurants to pharmacies and fuel.
• Up to 15% on purchases at restaurants, services, and tickets for concerts, movies, or theaters when booked through the T‑Bank app or your profile.
• Up to 30% on purchases from special offers by our partners, including popular stores, services, and cafes.

You can choose whether to receive cashback or not when ordering the card.

It’s another debit card linked to your main account. It has its own card details but shares the same balance with your primary card. You can order a plastic or virtual version for yourself or someone else. The additional cardholder will have access to your funds, but you’ll be able to monitor their spending and set limits.

You can order an additional debit card in the app or your profile — it’s free to issue, maintain, and deliver. Account transaction notifications cost ₽99 per month (₽59 for T‑Mobile subscribers).

If you already have notifications enabled for your primary card, you won’t be charged again.
