T‑Bank is a participant in the Central Bank of Russia’s pilot program for partnership-based financing. In May 2024, T‑Bank announced the launch of Russia’s first federal Islamic banking initiative. Now, banking products developed according to Islamic ethics and Sharia principles are available not only to those in select regions taking part in the pilot program, but to Muslims across most of Russia.

Both cards are intended for making purchases in both regular and online stores. Both cards allow you to store and transfer money, make payments within the app, and use services in the City section.

The key difference between the cards is that the Islamic debit card complies with Islamic principles. It doesn’t offer any financial services that could be considered riba, such as savings accounts, nor is it possible to use it for transactions or purchases in haram sectors. Your money is kept separate from other bank clients’ assets. When filling out the card application form, you can choose whether you want to earn cashback or not.

The Islamic card can’t be used to make purchases in the following sectors:

• Wholesale alcohol suppliers
• Bars, cocktail bars, discotheques, nightclubs, and taverns
• Stores selling alcoholic beverages to go
• Pawnshops
• Direct marketing of insurance services
• Tobacco stores
• Insurance company services
• Insurance premiums
• Insurance
• Gambling
• Lottery tickets

Your original passport and a document confirming the legal basis for your stay in Russia. Depending on the citizenship, such documents could include a migration card, work patent, permanent residence permit, or visa.

The bank credits cashback in rubles once per month:

• Up to 15% on purchases in four categories of your choice. In most cases you’ll get 5%. The categories will always include 1% cashback on all purchases of ₽100 or more. Other categories offering up to до 15% cashback change every month, from fast food and restaurants to pharmacies and fuel.
• Up to 15% on restaurants, services, and concert, movie, and theater tickets when booked through the T‑Bank app or your online profile.

An additional card is another debit card that’s linked to your account. It has its own card details but shares the same account as your primary card. You can order a physical or virtual card for yourself or someone else. Whoever has the additional card will have access to your funds, but you can control their spending and set limits.

You can order an additional debit card in the app or your profile. Issuance, maintenance, and delivery are all free. You can receive account transaction notifications for ₽99 per month (₽59 for T‑Mobile customers).

If you already have notifications enabled for your primary card, you won’t be charged again.

If you’re a T‑Bank client, you can invite a friend and get a reward of up to ₽5,000. To do this, you’ll need to generate a personal referral link. You can find it in the T‑Bank app: Cashback and rewards → Invite friends. Here’s what you need to do:

You can set up regular payments in your T‑Bank app or profile. To do this, you need to go to Account → Where to credit → Select fund, or go to Cashback and rewards → Cashback earned. You can select any of the charitable organizations that are available. Cashback earned in the «Regular purchases» and «Increased cashback» categories will be automatically sent to them every month. You can deactivate autopayments at any time.
